what’s inside:

jojoba oil - this incredible oil has a chemical structure that closely mimics that of our body’s sebum, meaning it can cleanse the skin without over drying making it the perfect base of this nourishing cleansing oil

sweet almond oil - this light oil is perfect for cleansing because of its antibacterial and anti-fungal properties, it will deep clean pores and leave skin feeling refreshed. sweet almond oil is also fast-absorbing making it incredibly moisturizing, helping to reduce redness and inflammation

argan oil - traditionally referred to as “liquid gold” in Morocco, this oil is packed with vitamins A, E and C, antioxidants and omega-6 fatty acids that are essential for healthy skin and hair and are used to protect against environmental damage and premature aging

rosehip oil - the retinoids in rosehip oil can help brighten your skin, prevent blackheads, and reduce inflammation. rosehip oil also contains linoleic acid, a fatty acid that can aid in blemish prevention and shrink pimples

vitamin e oil - this incredibly moisturizing antioxidant helps to create a natural barrier for you skin, locking in moisture and providing nourishment for dry and damaged skin

essential oil blend - lavender oil is naturally calming and antibacterial, meaning that it kills acne-causing bacteria while it soothes skin. orange essential oil is beneficial for promoting clarity + can also help to boost blood flow for more radiant looking skin

the ritual:

let’s get started: drizzle a quarter-sized amount of cleansing oil onto your palm, and massage onto a DRY face in circular motions

facial massage: gently massage for 2 minutes. do NOT skip this part, this is when the cleansing oil really works its magic - dissolving build-up and nourishing the skin with powerful nutrients. think of this as a time to relax and massage away the stresses of the day — like a mini at-home spa treatment!

wipe away: use a damp + warm clean washcloth or cleansing pad to gently wipe away impurities + excess oil with washcloth. no need to scrub too aggressively here — a few gentle sweeps of the face will do the trick

finish: you can choose to double cleanse with our Milky Way Cleansing Grains, or finish with a spritz with the Aurora Confidence Hydrosol, and seal in moisture with the Sun Rising Glow Serum or Moon Rising Beauty Balm
